Les vacances de Clément
Clément est parti en vacances à Itxassou
Grâce aux génies d’Aladin, Clément a profité d’une semaine de vacances en famille à Itxassou aux Pays Basque.
Quoi de mieux que le superbe récit de Clément pour raconter ses vacances:
« Cher Aladin,
Ma famille et moi sommes partis du 19 au 26 août à Itxassou, au Pays Basque. C’était de supers vacances !! Cela faisait longtemps que je voulais découvrir cette région.
Je vous remercie de nous avoir offert ce séjour. Cela nous a fait du bien de se retrouver, de passer du temps ensemble en vacances et de ne plus penser à l’hôpital.
Nous avons découvert une région magnifique, avec de beaux paysages, de jolis villages et des plages agréables.
Nous sommes allés dans les villages d’Espelette, Ainhoa, Ascain et Sare où nous avons visité la maison Ortillopitz, une « etxea » basque, c’est une maison typique basque qui date du XVIIème siècle. Ces villages sont tous plus beaux les uns que les autres.
Nous nous sommes également promenés autour d’Itxassou : nous avons pu voir le « Pas de Roland », une gorge dans laquelle passe la Nive, nous sommes allés à Cambo-les-Bains, village agréable dans lequel se trouve la maison d’Edmond Rostand. Nous avons visité cette magnifique et immense maison, c’était très intéressant.
Nous avons vu également Bayonne, une très jolie ville où il fait bon vivre et où les « pinxos » (tapas) sont excellents, Biarritz, que j’ai moins aimé parce qu’il y avait trop de monde et Saint Jean de Luz, agréable avec sa plage sympa. En tant que rugbyman et fan de rugby nous sommes passés aux stades Jean Dauger à Bayonne et Aguiléra à Biarritz.
Pendant le séjour nous en avons profité pour nous baigner et sauter dans les vagues de l’océan, c’était génial !!
Pour finir nous avons fait un petit tour en Espagne, au col d’Ibardin, où il y a une très belle vue sur Saint Jean de Luz et à Saint Sébastien qui possède des bâtiments trop gris mais avec une jolie architecture typique espagnole et là encore il y avait trop de monde.
Nous avons bien profité de la bergerie restaurée devant laquelle les brebis passaient tous les jours nous faire coucou. La vue sur l’Artzamendi est à couper le souffle, c’était très calme et vraiment reposant. Dernier petit détail, les églises basques valent le détour pour leurs somptueux retables et leurs galeries en bois atypiques.
